- The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to payments under the contract for the revaluation of SSNIT landed properties in the country. This is to bring the values of the properties in line with current open market levels.
Interested Consulting Firms that are in a position to provide this consultancy service for the revaluation of SSNIT landed properties in the country are invited to express their interests in the project.
The services required include:
i) To conduct a field survey of the different categories of Landed Properties owned by the Trust in the country.
ii) Assess and report on the nature, condition and the degree of utilisation of the landed properties.
iii) Use appropriate methodologies to determine the value of the Landed properties for Accounting and Insurance purposes.
iv) To determine the market and rental values of the landed properties.
v) Undertake any additional tasks that would help achieve the objectives as set out herein.
Interested consultants/firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in valuing landed properties in the Financial sector in Ghana and in multiple locations, appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants/Firms may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Requirements
Interested consultants shall provide the following as part of their Expression of Interest.
1. Legal status of the firm (evidence of registration and incorporation, etc.).
2. Evidence of professional registration of the firm and key staff proposed for the assignment. (A firm must be registered with the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and in good standing).
3. Experience of personnel and firm in similar assignments.
4. Evidence of previous works executed by the firm in the last five years.
5. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of Technical and Managerial staff proposed for the assignment.
6. Valid SSNIT and GRA clearance certificates.
