- REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM INVESTORS – CONCESSION TO CONSTRUCT STUDENTS’ HOSTELS
1. The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration intends to invite investors/ contractors to express interest to construct hostels on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis in Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Greenhill.
2. The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration invites eligible investors/ contractors to indicate their interest in the construction of hostels. They should provide information and verifiable evidence demonstrating that they have the required qualification and relevant experience to construct hostels.
3. Scope of Projects
• To construct a four-block students’ hostel of 7 storey accommodation with a bed space capacity of 4000; three thousand (3000) for undergraduate students, one thousand (1000) for graduate students and creating four categories of accommodation (1student per room, 2 students per room, 3 students per room and 4 students per room)
• The concessionaire will be responsible for all the funding from conception to completion.
• During the operation period, the concessionaire will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the project.
• Loss recovery plus margin by the concessionaire will be solely through facilities user fees charged at the hostel.
• Facilities user fee will be solely in agreement with the Institute with annual increment agreed between both parties.
• Project should be completed within 18 months of contract award
Criteria for Pre-Selection
1. Evidence of proof of funding ( financial capacity and ability to raise private finance)
2. Managerial and technical capacity and expertise

Interested Investors shall provide the following as part of the Expression of Interest
1. Proof of funding (financial capacity and ability to raise private finance)
2. Valid Incorporation Document
3. Profile of key Technical and Managerial Staff proposed for the project
4. Valid GRA Clearance and SSNIT Certificate

6. Signed Expression of Interest (EOI) must be delivered and deposited in the tender box to the Address below on or before 10:00a.m on 9th January, 2019
