- Section 91 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2003 (Act 663) mandates the Auditor-General to conduct statutory annual procurement audits of entities and compliance by contractors, suppliers, and consultants with the procurement requirement in the Act 663 as amended.
Pursuant to the above, the Audit Service seeks to identify and pre-qualify experienced eligible Consultants/Firms for the issue of Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Selection of a consultant for the above mentioned assignment in line with Section 29(7) of the Audit Service Regulations, 2011.
The main objective of the assignment is to engage the services of a consultant to assist the Audit Service to carry out procurement audits in accordance with the legal framework for auditing and Public Procurement
The Audit Service now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
In addition, firms are required to provide the following documents and information:
a. Profile of the Company, including Company Registration Certificates, SSNIT and GRA Tax Clearance Certificate , VAT Registration Certificate, and PPA supplier data base certificate
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended of the Republic of Ghana.
