Consulting Services For Provision Of Design For Proposed 4-Storey Basement Car Park And Shopping Mall And Re-Construction Of Central Market Into 4-Storey Modern Market.

New Juaben South Municipal Assembly is securing Funds from the private sector both home and abroad to develop the two (2) vital and highly profitable projects in the Municipality. Also to improve the Local Economic Development.
Objective of the Assignment
The specific objective of the assignment is to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for design of the following projects.
1. Proposed 4-Storey Basement Car Park and Shopping Mall.
2. Re-construction of Koforidua Central Market into 4-Storey Modern Market
Scope of Services Required
The general scope of services to be performed by the consultant shall include but not limited to the following.
1. Develop the strategic Framework stakeholders Engagement – This will involve the identification of the key interest groups and developing a brief and clear strategy for initial engagement of the Key stakeholders to solicit for information and data for the design of the projects.
2. Develop the preliminary stakeholder’s engagement and development plan to ensure the stakeholders involvement and support throughout the design preparation and implementation of the planned interventions and the expected outcome/immediate impact of all projects.
3. Consult and gather relevant data and information from the relevant state institutions (GNFS, GWCL,PDS etc) for the proposed projects.
4. Carry out the relevant topographical survey and geotechnical investigation studies to gather information for the design of the project.
5. Conduct preliminary environmental and social impact assessment to gather information and data to form design.
6. Conduct gender/disability analysis to form Urban design, infrastructure and planning standards, planning layouts and building requirement so as to ensure that the intervention provided meet the different interests of women, men, the young and the people with disability.
7. Develop a detected stakeholder education and awareness plan for implementation of the projects.
8. Conduct preliminary social and economic impact and sensitivity analysis to identify the most cost-effective option of the project.
9. Facilitate the presentation of the design to key stakeholders at the forum to be organized by the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly to ensure collective understanding and appreciation of the proposed projects.
10. Prepare the final architectural and engineering design drawing, cost estimate and design report.
