- VRA/NED is requesting proposals from experienced consulting firms to develop an Enterprise GIS system capable of meeting the expectations of VRA/NED. The project will be financed using VRA’s internally generated funds.
This EOI is therefore to seek interested Development Consultants with financial and technical capacity to partner VRA in developing an Enterprise GIS system.
The Consultant would be expected to:
1 Undertake a requirement analysis and software system design
2 Supply GIS Software - Software conforming to Open GIS standards.
3 Develop/customize application software for Customer Management, Energy Audit, Asset Management, Network Analysis, etc.
4 Map the entire LV distribution Network in NED.
5 Implement a GIS System using data furnished in open GIS files and customer indexing in database etc., for all NED.
6 Train VRA/NED personnel in application and management of the Enterprise GIS.
