- 1. The Ghana Health Sector has been receiving support from Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) in the areas of Health Systems Strengthening (HSS), Immunization Service Support (ISS) and Civil Society orgnisation Support (CSO) since year 2000. The mission of GAVI is to save lives of children and protect people's health in poor countries.
2. An evaluation of the GAVI support mentioned above, is been commissioned by the Ghana Health Service. The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate the rele, effectiveness, efficiency and results of the supports. The result of the evaluation will provide useful lessons learnt and experience for Ghana, GAVI and other stakeholders to improve upon future funding support to Ghana and other countries.
3. This assignment will review activities covering HSS, ISS and CSO support by GAVI since 2007-2013. It will therefore require a Service Provider with team of experts with skill mix covering Public Health with specialties in Immunization, Community Development, Health Systems, Financial and Procurement Management.
4. The Ghana Health Service now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing this service. Interested Consultants should provide information indicating they are qualified to perform the service (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, signed curriculum vitae etc) Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
