- 1. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited (CMC) intends to procure various items to support its operations during the current financial year. The procurement of these items will be done through framework contracting. Framework Contracts are long-term or blanket purchase agreements that establish the general terms that will govern contracts to be awarded during the contract period.
2. The objective of this invitation is to shortlist tenders who will be invited from time to time to submit quotations for the supply of the selected item(s) under each package as and when required. The duration of the proposed framework arrangement shall be one year extendable for another year.
3. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited therefore invites dealers, interested and eligible organizations to submit applications for the pre-qualification of suppliers for the following items:

4. Tenderers will be shortlisted in accordance with the pre-qualification document, procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003, (Act 663) as amended and the Guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) of the Republic of Ghana.
5. This invitation for pre-qualification is open to potential applicants who are able to demonstrate proven technical, financial and managerial capacity to supply the listed goods. Prospective suppliers must have carried out successful supply and delivery of similar items to other Institution and must demonstrate the willingness and commitment to meet the pre-qualification criteria.
6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Deputy Procurement Manager , Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited, Room 11, First Floor of the Swanzy Shopping Arcade from 9.00am to 4.30pm local time from Friday, 22nd January, 2021 onwards till the close of tender.
7. A complete set of pre-qualification document in English may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢250.00) for each package payable at the Cash Office, Room 207, Second Floor, Cocoa House - Accra. The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft payable to Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited.
8. Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.30 am. Tuesday, 9th February, 2021. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after deadline for Tender submission.
9. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited reserves the right to seek further clarifications and to visit and inspect the business premises of the applicant to verify the information provided.
10. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited will ensure information that is received from companies is treated confidentially and shall be for the sole use of the pre-qualification exercise.
11. The pre-qualification document must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “Pre-qualification of Suppliers 2021”, indicating clearly the appropriate package and reference number being applied for and placed in a tender box located at the place of tender.
