- The Wassa Akropong Government Hospital, Wassa Akropong pursuant to the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2003, (Act 663), 914 Amended invites business firms and companies interested in doing business with the hospital for the 2022 fiscal year to apply for registration. Applicants would be pre-qualified in the following general areas of supply.
1. Supply of Essential Medicines
2. Supply of Non- Medicines Consumables
3. Supply of laboratory Reagents and Apparatus
4. Supply of General Office Equipment and Stationery
5. Supply of Hospital Linen and Clothing items
6. Printing and Publication
7. Construction and Civil Works
8. Routine Maintenance and Servicing of Vehicles (On fixed term contract basis)
9. Routine Maintenance and Servicing of some general office and medical equipment, including theatre, laboratory equipment and machinery (On fixed term contract basis)
10. Re-filling of Medical Oxygen Cylinders and Fire Extinguishers (On fixed term contract basis)
11. Re-filling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) (On fixed term contract basis)
12. Supply of Hospital Cleaning Materials.
13. Supply of building materials, plumbing, carpentry, electrical materials etc.
14. Servicing of Refrigeration, Air conditioners (On fixed term contract basis)
15. Routine maintenance and servicing of generator (On fixed term contract basis)
16. Scavenging and Disposal of Refuse. (On fixed term contract basis)
Applicants should provide documents relating to the following:
i. Introductory letter indicating the business location and address, and the major products / business line
ii. certificate (Business registration certificates of incorporation and to commence business)
iii. VAT Registration certificate (or if exempt, evidence of exemption)
iv. Evidence of fulfillment of tax obligations (latest tax clearance certificate)
v. Copy of latest Labour clearance certificate
vi. Copy of latest Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) clearance certificate
vii. Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate (Construction and Civil Works Only)
viii. Food and Drugs Authority and Pharmacy Council certificate (for drugs supply only)
ix. Supplier Registration Certificate from PPA, or evidence of the registration.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
All applicants for pre-qualification would be assessed on indicators identified from (I - ix) above and must score up to 70% overall to qualify.

Tender documents are available for collection at the Procurement Unit of the Hospital. Completed application forms together with all relevant supporting documents should be comb-binded and submitted in sealed envelope to the same office (located within the Administration Block) TWO WEEKS from the date of this publication before or on close of work 4:30pm. on working days.
