CONSTRUCTION OF KASOA INTERCHANGE
Invitation for Prequalification
The Government of Ghana intends to undertake the construction of the Kasoa Interchange with funds from the Consolidated Fund.
The Ministry of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the “Employer†acting through the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) intends to pre-qualify contractors for the construction of the Kasoa Interchange.
A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ¢2,000,000.00 or equivalent in any convertible currency.
Prequalification will be based upon the capacity and resources of the Applicant to execute the works satisfactorily, taking into account their:
a) experience and past performance on similar contracts
b) knowledge of working conditions in developing or sub-Saharan African countries
c) capacity in terms of personnel and equipment
d) financial position
Applications for prequalification shall be evaluated using the criteria explicitly stated in the Instructions to Applicants.
Applications for pre-qualification (an original and 2 copies) should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered by hand or by registered mail to the address below by 21st February 2007, and be clearly marked;
“Application to Pre-qualify for: Construction of Kasoa Interchange.
The Government of Ghana reserves the right to accept or reject late applications. Applicants will be duly informed of the results of their application. Only firms and joint ventures pre-qualified under the procedure will be invited to bid.
