- The Ghana Health Service intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund the cost of the Procurement of Medical Equipment to Support the Project for the Acceleration of Tuberculosis Case Detection in Ghana, under the contract for the Supply, Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Diagnostic X-Ray & Laboratory Equipment and other related equipment.
The Ghana Health Service intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the
• Supply, installation, operation, technical support and maintenance of Diagnostic Digital X-Ray Systems
• Supply, installation, operation, technical support and maintenance of laboratory equipment for microscopy and molecular testing of tuberculosis
• Supply, installation, operation, technical support and maintenance of IT hardware and software to support the project
• Supply, operation and maintenance of vehicles and transport equipment for the project
• Training on the use and maintenance of diagnostic digital X-Ray systems, IT systems and laboratory equipment
• Overall project management activities
• Clinical training,
• Technology application training including chest X-Ray reading,
• Advocacy programs,
• Media campaign and awareness creation,
• Prevalence studies and operational research
• Quality assurance & control programs
• Project monitoring and evaluation
• Pre-installation works and x-ray facility improvement where necessary
• Supply of radiation protection devices and equipment
