- Tender Description:
- The Ministry of Health is leading an on-going supply chain reforms designed to improve efficiency in the entire health sector supply chain. The use of Framework Contracting is part of the on-going reforms. All stakeholders (Regional Health Directorate and Teaching Hospitals) have agreed on a list of pharmaceuticals to be procured through a competitive tendering process. Following the completion of the tender at the national level, the Ministry of Health will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the successful suppliers and each Regional Health Directorate and Teaching Hospital would then enter into framework contracts with the identified successful suppliers.
The Ministry of Health, Ghana (representing its agencies, i.e., Ghana Health Service and the Teaching Hospitals) hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser, intends using part of its budgetary allocation to fund the procurement of Essential Medicines to support its programme of work under Framework Contracting.
The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from eligible manufacturers or their authorized representatives for the supply of the said goods listed in the schedule of requirement, Section V of theTender Document
