- The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area Sanitation and Water Project (GAMA SWP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract to undertake immediate intervention to alleviate the situation in flood prone areas where storm water poses a severe risk for environmental sanitation management within GAMA.
