- Description:
- The University of Ghana has a Restaurant and Relaxing Facility for customers and users of the sporting facilities of the University of Ghana Sports Directorate.
The University of Ghana would want to engage a private operator of the restaurant is to attract customers and users of the Swimming Pool at the Sports Directorate and also to complement its use. The Operator will take up the physical structure and operate it on a lease and other mutually beneficial arrangement to be developed.
The operator's service ("the Services") shall include:
i. To operate the Restaurant seven days a week in the provision of services to the users of the sports facilities.
ii. To operate within the hours 6am to 10pm
iii. To introduce innovative programmes that are acceptable to an academic environment in order to make the Pool Restaurant the preferred place to be on the University campus,
iv. To serve high quality but affordable local and continental dishes and snacks.
The operation is expected to commence of 1st August, 2016 and would carry on over for a period of 5 years at the initial stage and will be renewable based on performance.
The University of Ghana now invites Private Operators with a verifiable track record in the management and operation of "Catering Facility/Restaurant" to indicate their interest in operating the Restaurant.
Eligible Operators must submit Expressions of Interest indicating the following;
i. Company Profile indicating relevant track record; this should include a description of similar assignments within the last five years
ii. Possession of required personal (Qualified and professionally registered personnel to carry out above service). Evidence of adequate logistics for the assignment
iii. A two-page brief on the vision of the Operator for the Pool Restaurant
iv. Evidence of financial capability of the Operator.
