Description:: The African Centre of Excellence (ACE) Project was instituted in the year 2013 by the Governments of Nigeria, Ghana, Benin Republic, Togo, Burkina Faso, Cameroun and Senegal with support from the World Bank to promote regional specialazation amongst participating universities in the West and Central Africa sub-region within disciplines that address particular common regional challenges. It is also aims at strengthening the capacities of these universities to enable them deliver high quality training and applied research.

The University of Ghana on behalf of ACE Ghana, intends to apply part of its project funds under the African Centre of Excellence (ACE) World Bank Project for the Engagement of a Consultant to provide Procurement Audit of the 1 ACEs (WACCI and WACCBIP) from inception date.

The Consultant's Services ('the Services') shall include the following;

To provide assurance to the two ACEs, using the World Bank's Procurement Guidelines, that procurement and contracting have been carried out in accordance with the procedures specified in the Credit Agreement or authorized by the World Bank through formal waivers.

Eligible individual Procurement Specialist who have a proven record experience in undertaking Procurement Audits generally and particularly procurement audits of donor-funded projects/programmes must submit Expressions of Interest (EOI)
