- The VRA now invites proposals from eligible firms willing to undertake procurement services on behalf of VRA for all Plants under the Thermal Generation Department in relation to procuring, pre-financing and delivery of parts, services and equipment from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to designated locations (Takoradi, Tema and Kpone) in Ghana in a timely manner in order to ensure availability of parts, equipment and services.
The parts, equipment and services are of but not limited to mechanical, electrical, instrumentation in type. The generating fleets include but not limited to three (3)GE Frame 9E, Two (2) GT11 Alstom, Siemens, Three (3) SGT-300, two (2) SGT-400, two (2) CMI Vertical Boilers, one (1) SC4 Steam Turbine generator and its associated accessories. Balance of Plants systems include but not limited to Fuel Treatment, Water Treatment and Oily waste treatment and associated ancillary
