1. The Ghana Airports Company Limited intends to apply part of its Internally Generated Funds (IGF) to make payments under the contract for Consultancy services for the “Re-engineering of Sewage Treatment Plant at KIA”

2. The assignment is to conduct a study into the main Sewerage Treatment Plant at KIA with the basis of the study being; to develop a program for improve, retrofit to introduce more efficient process technologies into the existing sewerage plant at K.I.A. The task also includes preparing the detailed engineering designs, specifications, drawings, deliverables for the preparation of tender and contract documents including post works maintenance schedule.

The scope of services includes:
i) detailed technical design,
ii) current plant operational challenges, effluence conformance to standards investigation,
iii) plant subsystems’ condition survey, in-flow/outflow volumes data analysis, preparation of specification.

3. The Ghana Airports Company Limited now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills etc.). For evaluation of the expressions of interest the following criteria among others will be applied:

i) Valid tax clearance certificate
ii) Average annual turnover of GHs75,000.00 per year over the last 5 years (2011-2016)
iii) General experience of individual in liquid waste management
iv) Number of similar assignments by the firm in the last five years
v) Individual’s experience in sub Saharan Africa
