Consultancy Services For Design Review And Construction Supervision Of The Development Of Kumasi Airport Phase 2

1. The Ghana Airports Company Limited intends to apply part of its Internally Generated Funds (IGF) to make payments under the contract for Consultancy services for “Design Review and Construction Supervision of the Development of Kumasi Airport Phase 2”.

2. The services include review of designs to be submitted by Design-Build Contractor, project management and construction supervision of new terminal building and extension of existing runway of the airport.

The scope of service includes the following:
i) Review of designs for new terminal building, runway extension, new apron, link taxiway, airfield lighting and all ancillary facilities.
ii) Project Management Services.
iii) Construction supervision of works.

3. The Ghana Airports Company Limited now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. For evaluation of the expressions of interest the following criteria among others will be applied:

i) Valid statutory documents and corporate citizenship – certificates of incorporation and registration and tax clearance certificates
ii) Average annual turnover of GHs300,000.00 per year over the last 5 years (2011-2016)
iii) General experience of firm in the airport as well as general commercial real estate and industrial development projects
iv) Number of similar assignments by the firm in the last five years
v) Firm’s experience in sub Saharan Africa
vi) Availability and experience of relevant key personnel in similar assignments
