- Consultancy Services For The Establishment Of Safe Mining/Blasting Distance Of The Akosombo And Kpong Dams.
The Volta River Authority intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to cover payments under the contract for Consulting Services for the establishment of safe mining/blasting distance of the Akosombo and Kpong Dams.
The services include but not limited to:
• Undertaking studies to determine safe mining/blasting distance of the Akosombo and Kpong dams.
• Providing recommendations on blasting and mining activities based on the geology of the respective areas and the engineering of the dams.
• Recommending a program for monitoring ground vibrations on the respective dams.
The Volta River Authority now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (legal status of firm, brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, valid SSNIT and GRA clearance certificate etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
