- The GHANA EDUCATION TRUST FUND (GETFund) under the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION of the Republic of Ghana has been allotted funds to cover the cost of INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT WORK in the Ashanti and Eastern and intends to apply part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Consulting Services.
The Consulting Services (“the Services”) include the supervision of construction works (Classroom Blocks, Administration Blocks, Dormitory Blocks, Assembly Hall, etc.) in Schools across the country. The Project Implementation period is 24 months. The Scope of Work for the Assignment has been divided into lots as indicated in the table below
Lot - AS/EMER/CS01
Region - Ashanti
Minimum Number of Schools - 42
Lot - ER/EMER/CS02
Region - Eastern
Minimum Number of Schools - 24
The Ministry of Education through its Funds and Procurement Management Unit (FPMU) now invites eligible Consulting Firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services.
Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the Required Qualifications and Relevant Experience to perform the Services.
Interested Consultants can express their interest in one or two lots but shall be shortlisted for only one lot. The shortlisting criteria are:
1. The Consultants Past Experience and Performance
2. The Financial ability of the Consultants
3. Registration with a Professional Body
4. The Staff, Organizational Chart and Key Technical Personnel of the Consultants
Interested Firms shall provide the following as part of their Expression of Interest:
1. Legal Status of the Firm (i.e Certificate of Incorporation and Certificate to Commence Business)
2. GRA Tax Clearance Certificate
3. SNNIT Clearance Certificate
