The Ministry of Works and Housing has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The Project will be implemented through four-interrelated Components, namely:
1. Climate Resilient Drainage and Flood Mitigating Activities;
2. Solid Waste Management Capacity Improvements;
3. Participatory Upgrading of Targeted Flood Prone Low Income Communities and Local Government Support; and
4. Project Management.
The objective of this assignment is to design, develop and implement a Website for the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project. The Website, through high-impact communication strategies and robust content development and update, is intended to promote heightened awareness of the Project’s general objectives of advancing improvement in the flood risk management and Solid Waste Management in the Greater Accra Region, improve access to basic infrastructure and services and provide platform for Online Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).
The consulting services (“the Services”) include the design and development a project website, webhosting and website maintenance with secure email system, social media handles and security architecture for the project website.
It is estimated that 2 professional staff-months will be required over a 4 weeks period. The assignment is expected to start in February, 2020.

The Ministry of Works and Housing now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
a. Core business of the firm should be IT.
b. At least 5 years in business.
c. Relevant experience in the design and maintenance of websites
d. Experience in webhosting.
e. Technical and Managerial Capability of the firm.
f. Must have availability of appropriate skills among staff.
Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.
