Description:: The specific duties and activities required from the law firm involve drafting agreements, legal counsel in court, periodic meetings with the GMet, offering legal advice and follow up on issues of legal nature on behalf of the Agency. The duties of the Firm to be engaged include but not limited to:
• To act on the instructions of the Agency in any legal and/or related matter to which the Agency may be a party
• To provide legal advice to the Agency where so required
• To generally represent the Agency’s interest as Solicitor
• Capacity Statement outlining relevant and specific experience in relation to the objects of the Agency and/or its supervising Ministry. Such experience must include: Drafting and/or review of contracts, Expertise in government-related work for public and private sector institutions, Drafting and/or review of credit agreements, debt recovery etc
• Facilitate dispute resolution services for the Agency

The shortlisting criteria include:
• A profile of all qualified personnel to undertake the intended work with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
• The audited financial statement of accounts from 2016 to 2019
• Relevant registration with the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and other relevant Professional Associations
• Relevant registration documents and clearance certificates from statutory bodies (GRA, VAT, SSNIT, PPA).
