The Ghana Statistical Service has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Harmonising and Improving Statistics in West Africa (HISWA) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include: Upgrade of the Local Area Network in GSS Head Office, Census Secretariat and Regional Offices within a period of two (2) months, ensuring full consistency with the TOR referred to in this REOI.
The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be found at the following website: (www.statsgahana.gov.gh).
The Ghana Statistical Service now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
i. Evidence of three similar jobs done with references and;
ii. Technical and managerial capability of the firm.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant Qualification Selection Method (CQS), described in the Procurement Regulations and to be specifically set out in the Request for Proposals.
