- GRIDCo seeks to engage the services of a reputable consulting firm for the provision of adequate and timely funding arrangement that facilitates the effective and efficient execution of the GRIDCo’s five year Capital Investment Plan (CIP) without jeopardizing the company’s financial stability.
The terms of reference (TOR) for the consultancy services include but not limited to the following:
a. Identification of the various financing options available to GRIDCo for its five year investment program,
b. Identification of various potential debt financing sources,
c. Appraising the various options in terms of their cost and feasibility.
d. Identifying the various regulatory requirements that may be needed for accessing these options,
e. Reviewing GRIDCo’s current capital investment program to assess its feasibility and funding viability and make necessary recommendations as to any required modifications to achieve the same,
f. In line with similar international practices, prepare a credible financing plan and, when necessary, a robust business plan for prospective lenders or potential funding agencies,
g. Identifying and appraising various [project] finance structuring options,
h. Assisting GRIDCo during the implantation phase
