- The Gaming Commission of Ghana intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation for the engagement of a consultant with a track record in the Gaming industry to assist in the acquisition of a Monitoring System to streamline its administrative processes and improve Revenue Assurance.
The Gaming Commission is a body corporate established by the Gaming Act 2006, Act 721 with the main purpose of Regulating, Controlling, Monitoring and Supervising the operations of Games of Chance in the country
The Gaming Commission recognises that, to effectively deliver on its mandate, it would need to replace the current manual processes with the acquisition of the monitoring system service. The new system, to be called the Gaming Administration and Monitoring System (GAMS), will improve operations within service categories and will increase the flexibility, efficiency, speed and effectiveness of delivery and customer service. It is expected that on implementation, the system would incorporate among other critical features such as licensing and renewals, Business Intelligence software to allow for data analysis at varying levels within the organisation.
In pursuance of the above, the Gaming Commission of Ghana requests for Expression of Interest from a Consultant to advise the Board and Management on the requirements and detailed roadmap that will lead to the procurement of the GAMS.
Suitable Consultant must indicate his/her interest by providing the following information:
a) A Curriculum Vitae (CV):
b) Profile of the company (brochures etc.)
c) Description of similar assignments handled in the past five(5) years
d) Description of specific/relevant assignments in scope recently carried out and the clients/address involved
e) A methodology for executing the project.
f) Demonstrable capability to work with the organization:
g) Proven working Knowledge of the gaming industry, gaming systems/or IT solutions related to the gaming industry is preferred.
h) Proven working knowledge on IT solutions for Taxation.
i) Company Registration/VAT certificate
j) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
k) Valid SSNIT Certificate
Firms will be shortlisted in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663), and the Public Procurement (amendment) Act, 2016 (Act 994) of the Republic of Ghana.
Interested firms should send their EOI in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Expression of Interest for a comprehensive review of the current Gaming landscape”.
