The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is seeking to engage a qualified Renewable Energy Consultancy Firm to develop a comprehensive strategy for diversifying the company's operations to include low-carbon projects.

GNPC now invites eligible consultancy firms to indicate their interest in providing the service. Information to be provided include:
Description and experience in executing similar assignments, Organizational setup, partnerships/relationship charts, ownership and beneficiary structures, brochures, availability of appropriate skills among key staff, required licensing and professional registrations, verifiable proof of commercial and financial capabilities, power of attorney of contact person(s) for any possible further communications.
Statutory documents including:
Letter of Interest,
Company profile,
Valid Certificate of Registration of Firm,
Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate,
Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate,
VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable),
Valid Certificate from PPA.

The consulting firm will work with GNPC’s Integrated Energy Team to ensure delivery of objectives including but not limited to the following:
• Analyse the demand and potential for business opportunities in the low-carbon energy market.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges associated with low-carbon projects, including but not limited to; market, technological, financial, regulatory, social, environmental, and technical risks that may affect the project’s success.
• Outline a plan for reskilling and upskilling the company's workforce to work in an integrated energy company.
• Identify low-carbon projects that fit the Corporation’s Social License objectives.
• Provide the necessary information and analysis to determine which low-carbon projects or initiatives to pursue, modify, or abandon based on their feasibility and alignment with national policies and company strategic objectives.
• Develop a sustainability policy framework for GNPC’s low-carbon initiative.

GNPC shall exercise the right to conduct extensive due diligence to seek to verify any or all claims in any of the submissions. All applications, once received by GNPC are deemed to have automatically given GNPC unrestricted right to conduct the necessary verification of claims. It is therefore in the interest of applicants to provide reliable contact information and testimonials for such due diligence procedures.

This Expression of Interest stage is not expected to evolve into direct contractual engagements. Only shortlisted consultancy firms will be issued with Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with the provisions in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, of the Republic of Ghana.

Duly completed EOI document in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked: “Expression of Interest – Feasibility Study for GNPC Integrated Energy Project”
Two hard copies and one soft copy on pen drive of the completed Expression of Interest documents and other requested information shall be referenced and addressed to:
