1. The Ministry of Trade and Industry through the Rural Enterprises Programme has established 31 Technology Solution Centres (TSCs) across the country together with GRATIS Foundation and the participating District Assemblies, with Funding from GOG, African Development Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The Technology Solutions Centers are light engineering workshops designed and fitted with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment to provide technology solutions to MSMEs, offer training and support fabrication of agro-processing machinery for Enterprises. The fundamental purpose of the facilities is to promote effective technology and skills to enhance productivity, particularly, in agriculture and agro-industry. The TSCs are currently being supervised mainly by GRATIS Foundation.
