- The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) refers to the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) which was advertised on Page 39 of the August 19, 2024 edition of the Daily Graphic and which was also posted on the Public Procurement Authority’s Website on August 19, 2024.
The Request for Expression of Interest was for eligible consultancy firms with relevant industry knowledge and experience in decommissioning operations to indicate their interest in undertaking a review of the decommissioning processes to-date, advise and recommend a viable and financially robust solution for the completion of the Saltpond Oil Field Decommissioning project.
The Submission date for the REOI has been extended to September 11, 2024.
Firms are to indicate their interest in rendering the service by providing the following information; Description and experience in executing similar assignments, Organizational setup, partnerships/relationship charts, ownership and beneficiary structures, brochures, availability of appropriate skills among key staff, required licensing and professional registrations, verifiable proof of commercial and financial capabilities, Power of Attorney of contact person(s) for any possible further communications etc. Statutory documents including Letter of Interest, Company profile, Valid Certificate of Registration of Firm, Valid Petroleum Commission Permit, Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate, Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate, VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable), Valid Certificate of Registration from PPA.
Submission of Application for Expression of Interest
Duly completed EOI document in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked: “Expression of Interest – Consultancy Services for 3rd Party Verification on the Saltpond Field Decommissioning Project”
Two hard copies and one soft copy on pen drive of the completed Expression of Interest documents and other requested information shall be referenced and addressed to:

Completed Expression of Interest documents should be submitted to GNPC on or before 14:00 GMT, September 11, 2024.

Only shortlisted prospective consultancy firms will be issued with Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with the provisions in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, of the Republic of Ghana.
