- 1. The National Lottery Authority is looking for Manufacturers /Suppliers of Thermal Paper Rolls with the capacity of storing and delivering to meet its adoption of Just - in –Time (JIT) inventory System. Eligible Manufacturers /Suppliers will be expected to stock quantities of the Thermal Paper Rolls in country and supply to NLA as and when orders are placed.
2. In line with this objective, the Authority intends to apply part of its Internally Generated Funds to finance a contract for the supply of NLA’s Thermal Paper Rolls for use on its point of sale machines, called PADPMs and TPMs for printing lotto tickets.
The details of the Thermal Paper Rolls are as follows.

3. The Authority invites applications from eligible Manufacturers/suppliers who meet the criteria stated below, in order to select a reputable company for the supply of the Thermal Paper Rolls. Applicants may quote jointly or separately to execute the assignment but NLA reserves the right to award the job as a joint or separate project.
4. Qualification Criteria:
The following technical criterion qualification will be considered:
• Company profile showing proof of competent professionals to execute the job.
• Past experience in similar assignment
• Proof of Knowledge in the Manufacturing/ Supply business
• Evidence of storage and delivery facilities.
• Proof of financial capabilities or Bank guarantee to sustain supplies for at least a year.
In addition, the following documents will be required:
• Business registration and incorporation certificates.
• Valid IRS certificate.
• VAT registration certificate.
• SSNIT Clarence certificate.
• Manufacturer’s Certificate
5. Selection of Firm:
NLA shall shortlist applicants based on the criteria specified above. Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents for selection of a supplier will be issued only to shortlisted applicants. NLA also has the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons. The selection shall be in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663) of the Republic of Ghana.
Interested eligible applicants may inspect the NLA Point of Sale Machines, samples of the Thermal Paper Rolls and obtain further information from the Procurement Manager’s office at the address below between 8:30am and 4:30pm GMT from Mondays to Fridays.
6. The Expression of Interest (EOI) must be submitted to the address below on or before 17.00 GMT, Thursday June 21, 2012.
