- The Ghana Statistical Services (GSS) wish to engage consultants to assist GSS to write the 2010 PHC Reports in eight thematic areas, namely; Housing Conditions, Fertility, Mortality, Migration, Urbanisation, Economic Activities in Ghana, Disabilities in Ghana and Population Projections. The desired services include but not limited to ;
1. Prepare the draft outline of allotted thematic area;
2. Identify sub-topics to be covered in all allotted thematic areas;
3. Obtain basic tables on all themes covered by the report from the Census Data Analysis and Reporting Team (CDART) based on the 2010 PHC data and any other tables that are required for the work;
4. Refer to other publications and data sources to facilitate and improve the analysis of data;
5. Ensure consistence in the report with respect to observations, discussions, conclusions and recommendations drawn from the analysis of the data;
6. Submit draft reports to the Acting Census Coordinator for review at the stipulated times;
7. Attend all meetings orgnized by GSS to discuss the report;
8. Ensure that draft reports are amended according to comments made by the Editorial Team; and
9. Finalize the draft reports based on comments from editors
