Expression of Interest - Document nr. GR/BOST/TS/0002/2015
The Bulk Oil Storage & Transportation Company Limited (BOST) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to payments under the contract for the Operations and Maintenance of Ghana`s gas transmission network.
The services to be provided include, but are not limited to:
- Operations services: patrol and surveillance, control room monitoring, records upkeep and metering and measurement.
- Maintenance services: maintenance scheduling, pipeline inspection, pipeline corrosion control, oversight of spare parts and logistics, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Training of Ghana nationals: the Operations and Maintenance services provided will ultimately be insourced by BOST in the long term. The selected contractor should assist with the transfer of skills and operations to BOST employees through training, skills development workshops and the inclusion of BOST employees in operations.
The contract for the above mentioned services will commence in Q4 2015.
BOST now invites eligible contractors to indicate their interest in providing the requested services. Interested contractors are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Interested contractors should read and complete the Data Sheet that can be obtained from the BOST website. In addition to this cover letter and the Data Sheet is a memorandum that describes the scope of services to be provided.
Contractors will be invited to participate in the subsequent tender if they provide requested information and meet a number of criteria, as listed below:
- Eligibility in terms of the company`s general background
- Eligibility in terms of country of origin and turnover requirements
- Previous experience in similar assignments
- Language proficiency in English
- Relevant experience
- Quality of performance under previous contracts
Contractors may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) of the Republic of Ghana.
