- Description:
- The Government of Ghana has received a credit from the World Bank towards the cost of implementation of Local Government Capacity Support Project (LGCSP). The Agona West Municipal Assembly has been allocated funds under Component 2B – Capacity Support Fund (CSF) of the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for the Development of Asset Register, Asset Management Software and Asset Management Plan.
2. The objectives of the project are:
i. To strengthen the inter-governmental fiscal framework(IGFF);
ii. To strengthen local Pubic Financial Management (PFM) and accountability for improved infrastructure and services in urban assemblies; and
iii. To improve citizens’ engagement with urban assemblies and their perceptions of urban management.
3. The objective of the assignment is to provide technical services for the development of software for asset management to assist the Agona West Municipal Assembly in the implementation of the above mentioned sub-project under the CSF of the LGCSP.
The scope of the services will involve:
Task 1- Develop Asset Register/ Spatial Representation of all Assets,
Task 2- Computerize and update Asset Register and Asset Management Plan (Prepare Asset Management and Maintenance Plan) and
Task 3- Develop Training Programs on Asset Management for a smooth take- over.
4. The Agona West Municipal Assembly now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services described above. Interested consulting Firms/Institutions should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
