- Tender is open to all eligible Tenderers as defined in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana and registered with the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing, with Classification A2, B2 or above. To be considered as responsive, tenderers shall quote for all items in the required quantities for the package. Tenderers which do not offer all the items under the package shall be rejected as incomplete.
The Birim Central Municipal Assembly now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Contractors for the Construction of Works as indicated in the table above. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, Act 663, 2003 and the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, and inspect the Tender documents at the Address 1 from 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours GMT during working days.
Tender documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the Address 1 for a non-refundable fee of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢300.00) only, for each set. The document will be obtained personally and with an application letter. Tenderers are advised to use the Address 1 for obtaining information, inspection and purchase of Tender Document.
Tenders must be deposited into the box located at the Address 2 at or before 11:00 hours GMT on 13th November, 2017 Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of the amount stated in the Table above. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room, Birim Central Municipal Assembly at 11.00 hours GMT on 13th November 2017.
