Tender Description:: 1. To help address the transportation challenges, the Ministry of Transport under the Urban Transport Project has constructed a Bus Terminal located along the Adenta Ritz Junction Road to introduce Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System in the Greater Accra Region. The objective is to provide safe and convenient passenger reception facility for improved and reliable public transportation services to Ghanaians. It is estimated that the main terminal and holding area can accommodate 60 BRT buses and additional 50 vehicles for park and ride at a time. The facilities provided is on a 6.0 acres land and include the following:

i. Passenger Terminal
ii. Space for banks, restaurant, Shops, canteen, offices etc.
iii. Public Toilet
iv. Park and ride
v. Restrooms for drivers

The Ministry of Transport intends to privatize the management of the Terminal. Management of the Terminal shall include but not be limited to:

â€¢ Ensuring the optimal use of the Terminal
â€¢ Ensuring the attainment of revenue targets
â€¢ Rental of space within the facility to potential client
â€¢ marketing the Terminal to attract passengers
â€¢ ensuring the comfort and security of both commuters and drivers as well as the safety of vehicles
â€¢ maintaining the terminal to standards and specifications that shall be agreed with the Client

2. The Ministry of Transport, now invites sealed Tenders from eligible firms for the management of the Terminal.
