1. The ASHANTI REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCILhas been allocated funds by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund)to cover the cost of INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT WORK and intends to apply part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the RECONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION OF FACILITIES FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS (SHS)IN ASHANTI REGION. Tender is open to all eligible tenderers as defined in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
2. The ASHANTI REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCILinvites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for the RECONSTRUCTION/REHABILITATION OF FACILITIES FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS (SHS) ASHANTI REGION. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, Amended Act 2016 (Act 914) and is open to all eligible tenderers with Ministry and of Works and Housing classification certificate D2K2 and above.
3. A complete set of Tender documents (and additional copies) may be purchased at the address stated belowfor a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢300.00) or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency, for each set. The method of payment will be by cash. The tender document shall be obtained personally. Interested Tenderers may obtain further information at the same address during office hours from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs GMT from 18TH FEBUARY,2019 TO 8THMARCH , 2019.
4. Tenderers may tender for any of the lots and may be awarded multiple contracts based on an assessment of verifiable documentary evidence of the Tenderer’s capacity to execute multiple contracts simultaneously. Tenderers shall quote for all items in a lot as in the table below.

5. Tenders must be deposited into the tender box located at the Conference Room of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council on or before 8TH MARCH, 2019 at 10:00hrs GMT. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 DAYS after Tender opening and must be accompanied by a Tender Security of 2% of the tender price from reputable insurance company licensed by the Ghana Insurance Commission for each lot. Tenders shall be opened immediately thereafterin the presence of the Tenderers who wish to attend at the Conference Room of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council. Late Tenders shall be rejected.
