Tender Name:: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SECTOR ACCOUNTING STANDARDS (IPSAS) AT (ksTU)

Tender Description:: 2. Scope of Service
The services include validation and development of documented detailed accounting policies, procedures, and operational guidelines relating to the implementation of IPSAS at KsTU and activities that will assist the University to produce the first set of IPSAS compliant financial statements. The services extend to comprehensive diagnosis of KsTU financial management systems to ascertain the gap leading to IPSAS implementation, validate and report on IPSAS policies, guidance and procedures, support data presentation and review of accounting system including chart of accounts, preparation of KsTU IPSAS compliant finance and accounting manual, determination of IPSAS compliant opening positions and 31st December,2019 financial statement figures and train the University Staff on the IPSAS standards. The assignment shall be carried approximately over a 20 months period.

An eligible consultant shall possess and provide evidence of the following documents:
a) Certificate of Incorporation ( Renewal Mandate required)
b) Certificate to Commence Business
c) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and
d) Valid SSNIT Clearance certificate
e) Public Procurement Authority’s Registration
f) Certification from recognized Professional Accounting Body
