- The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers of vehicles listed in the above table. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as Amended by Act, 2016 (Act 914) and in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
Tenderers are to attach copies of the under listed documents:
i. Valid Business Registration Certificate and Certificate to Commerce Business
ii. Valid Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Certificates
iii. Valid Social Security Clearance Certificate
iv. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
v. Valid Manufacturer’s Authorization letter (if applicable)
vi. Valid Public Procurement Authority Certificate
Failure to submit any of the above documents may render a Tender unresponsive.
3. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) and inspect the Tender documents for each Lot at the address given below from 9:00am to 4:00pm each working day. Sealed Tenders should be clearly marked with the Lot and the package identification number.
4. A complete set of Tender documents in English may be obtained by interested Tenderers upon the submission of a written application to the address below and payment of non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc200.00).
5. Completed Tenders must be deposited in a Tender Box located in the conference room of the OHLGS at the address below on or before, Wednesday 15th April, 2020 at 10:30am prompt. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of not less than 2% of the Tender price from a reputable Bank or Insurance firm in Ghana.
7. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the Conference Room of the Office of the Head of Local Government Service, at the address below at 10:30am prompt, on Wednesday 15th April, 2020.
