Tender Name:: Consultancy Service for Baseline Study and Standards and Regulations for Electric Vehicle Charging in Ghana

Tender Description:: The Energy Commission, as part of efforts to create responsible and sustainable electricity demand in the country, embarked on a Drive Electric Initiative (DEI) in 2019, in collaboration with the ministry of energy to introduce electric vehicles in Ghana. The DEI is an innovative move by the Commission to:

1. Increase electricity demand sustainability to match supply as a way of partially addressing the electricity generation over capacity

2. Prevent Ghana from becoming a dumping ground for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles and usher in an era of green and sustainable technology for the future.

In view of the above, the Energy Commission is in a search for a consultant with rich experience and knowledge of international best practice to conduct a baseline study with the commission to draft standards and regulations with the help of the Ghana standards authority.

Additional Information:: An eligible consultant shall possess and provide the following documents/information:
1. Letter of interest

2. Profile of consultancy experience and relevant capabilities

3. Valid business registration certificate

4. Valid tax clearance certificate with a copy of receipts of payment

5. Valid PPA supplier registration

6. Curriculum vitae (CV) of experts with the requisite capability and experience to successfully deliver such assignment

7. Evidence of similar activity carried out within the last three (3) years

8. Methodology for executing this assignment

9. Any information relevant to the assignment

Interested consultants may obtain further information from the procurement unit, 1st floor, room no. 104 from Thursday, 15th April, 2021 during working hours (9:00a.m to 4:00p.m).

Interested consultants must submit one original and four photocopies of the expression of interest and must be delivered to the address below.
