- 1. The Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development through the Government of the Republic of Ghana has received funds from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments Works Contracts for the 20 – Unit Lockable Stores and 40 – Unit Market Stalls & 120 – Unit Market Stalls and Earth Works in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western-North Region.
2. The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for the construction of 160-Unit Market Stalls, 20-Unit Market Stores and Earthworks at Sefwi Edwenase Market and Transport Terminal – Lot 1& Lot 2 as per the requirements indicated in the Table below:

- 3. Tendering shall be conducted in accordance with the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663) as amended of the Republic of Ghana.
4. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the Municipal Coordinating Director, and inspect the Tender documents at the address given below from 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours GMT.
5. A complete set of Tender documents in English (and additional copies) may be purchased by interested Tenderers at the address stated below for a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 500.00) or its equivalent in a freely-convertible currency, for each set. Interested Tenderers may obtain further information at the same address.
6. Sealed Tenders must be deposited into the Tender Box located at the address below at or before 10.00 hours GMT on Tuesday 28th December, 2021.
Tenders shall be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days after Tender opening. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of amounts stated in the table above. Late Tenders will be rejected.
7. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderer’s representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 10.00 hours GMT on Tuesday 28th December, 2021.
