- 1. Central Regional Health Directorate, intends to apply a portion of its budgetary allocation from Medicines and Non-Medicines Revolving Fund for eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation for tender is issued.
2. The Regional Health Directorate, Central Region now invites sealed Tenders from eligible tenderers for the supply of health commodities as detailed below:
Lot 1: Contract Package No. GHS/CR/RHD/NCT/GDS/B.1.1/2022
*Contract Name: Supply of Essential Medicines
*Delivery Period: Within 2 weeks from the date of Award of Contract
Lot 2: Contract Package No. GHS/CR/RHD/NCT/GDS/B.2.1/2022
*Contract Name: Supply of Non-Medical Consumables
*Delivery Period: Within 2 weeks from the date of Award of Contract

- 3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering Procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 663, 2003, Public Procurement (amendment) Act 914, 2016 and in the guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
4. A complete set of Tender documents in English may be purchased from 17/03/2022 by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable cash fee of Five Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢550.00) for Medicines and Non-Medical Consumables a tender document. All payment should be made at the accounts department of the Regional Health Directorate, Cape Coast.
After payment of the specified amount, tenderers are required to send your receipt to the Procurement Unit located at the premises of the Regional Medical Stores for the tender documents.
5. Interested Eligible Tenderers (i.e., manufacturers or their authorized agents) may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit of the Regional Health Directorate and inspect the tender documents at the same unit between 9:30 am - 4:30 pm each working day from 17th March, 2021.
6. Completed tender document must be deposited in the tender box located at Regional Procurement Unit, within the Regional Medical Stores building on or before 8th April, 2022 at 10:00am prompt. The document must be marked with the contact package number and address to:

7. Tenders shall be valid for period of (90) days after the deadline of tender submission.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by a completed, certified letter of tender and declaration document.
9. Tenders will be opened in the presence of Tenderers’ Representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Conference Hall of the Regional Health Directorate, Cape Coast on: 8th April, 2022 at 10:30am prompt.
Late tenders will be rejected.
The following conditions are to be met by all prospective tenderers.
a) Valid Company Registration Certificate
b) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
c) Valid Pharmacy Council Certificate (where applicable)
d) Food & Drugs Authority Certificate (where applicable)
e) Valid VAT/Exemption Registration Certificate
f) Valid SSNIT Certificate
g) Evidence of Manufacturers Authorization i.e. for wholesalers
h) Three (3) Referees from Recognized Institutions and evidence of financial capability.
i) Valid Public Procurement Authority’s Certificate and S.P.P compliance document
Failure to submit any of the above listed documents would render the tender ’non-responsive’ and it would be consequently not evaluated.
