1. The Government of Ghana has received a grant from the International Development Association towards the cost of Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) Sanitation and Water Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Construction of RECTANGULAR STORM DRAINS AROUND UNITY STREET AND JOMAN BY-PASS AREA, ABLEKUMAN, ACCRA
2. The Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development now represented by the Ga Central Municipal Assembly now invites sealed bids from Eligible and qualified Bidders for the Procurement of Construction of Rectangular Storm Drains with the Detailed Below

- 3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement,” Standard Bidding Document for Small Works, April, 2015, and is open to all eligible as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, eligible Ghanaians locally registered bidders must be registered with the Ministry of Roads and Highways (MRH) and have a classification of at least A2, B2.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from address 1 below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours.
5. A complete set of bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the Address 1 below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00). the method of payment will be by cash. The document will be sent by surface mail.
6. All sealed bids must be delivered to the address below (Address 2) on or before 10:00 hours local time, 30th May, 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Tenders will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the conference room of address 2 below on 10:30 hours local time, May 30th, 2022.
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of. Seventy Thousand, Ghana Cedis (GH₵70,000.00) the Bid Security validity period shall be 148 days after tender submission.
