- 1. The Effutu Municipal Education Directorate has received funds through statutory funding and intends to apply a portion to cover eligible payment for Works Contracts whose requirements is indicated below:
Contract Description: CONSTRUCTION OF LIBRARY AND I.C.T CENTRE AT LOW-COST, NTAKORFAM-WINNEBA
Location: LOW-COST
Delivery/ Completion Period: SIX MONTHS
Tender Security Amount (GHc): 2% of contract sum

- 2. Interested tenderers may tender for the package indicated above. To be considered responsive, tenderers shall quote for all the requirement indicated in the Tender Document. Tenderers who do not meet all the requirement stated in the tender document shall be rejected as non-responsive. Tenders will be evaluated, and the contract awarded to tenderer which is responsive and financially advantageous to the Client.
3. The Efftu Municipal Director of Ghana Education Service now invites sealed tenders from eligible contractors for the construction of the works indicated in the table above. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, (Act 663, 2003) as amended.
4. Tenderers are to Provide all required documents as stated in the tender documents. The underlisted requirements are mandatory:
a) Business Registration Certificate,
b) Tax Clearance Certificate (original-Job Specific),
c) Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate (Original),
d) Evidence of Public Procurement Authority Registration Certificate,
e) Tender Security of Two (2%) of the Tender Price from a Reputable Bank/Insurance Company,
f) Valid Labour Certificate,
g) Power of Attorney
h) Valid Ministry of Water Resource Certificate
i) Works and Housing Certificate (D3, K3 and above) and
j) Documentary Evidence of Similar projects Executed (Award of Contract letters) and other qualification information that will be stated in the tender data sheet.
5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Office of the The Efftu Municipal Director of Ghana Education Service -Winneba and inspect the tender document at the address given below from 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours GMT on working days.
6. Tender document may be purchased at the address stated below for a non-refundable fee of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢300.00) only . The document will be obtained personally and with an application letter. Tenderers are advised to use the address stated below for obtaining information, inspection and purchase of tender document.
7. Tenders must be deposited into the box located at the address below on or before 11:00 hours GMT on Wednesday 24th August,2022. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline of tender submission. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room of the Effutu Municipal Education Directorate at 11.00 hours GMT on 24th August,2022.
