- a. The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly in collaboration with her project implementing partners have received funding from the European Union under the ‘Local Authorities Partnership for Sustainable Cities’ aimed to promote integrated urban development through partnerships built among Local Authorities of the EU Member States and of partner countries in accordance with the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development.
b. The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly intends to apply part of the funding under the action Twin-Cities in Sustainable Partnership Project (TCSPP) and now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors for the procurement of:

CONSTRUCTION OF 1NO. SINGLE STOREY TRAINING CENTRE WITH WORKSHOP AND EXTERNAL WORKS FOR TWIN CITIES IN SUSTAINABLE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME AT STMA DEPOT

- c. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering Procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended Act, 2016 (Act 914) and in the Guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana and also in line with the Contract Procedures for European Union External Action, i.e. PRAG (Practical guide to procurement and grant award procedure).
d. In addition to the General requirement stated in the Tender Document, all Eligible Tenderers should provide the following:
i. Valid Registrar-General’s Department Certificate
ii. Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate (D3K3 and above)
iii. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
iv. Valid TAX Clearance Certificate
v. Valid Labour Certificate
vi. Valid PPA Registration Certificate
e. Complete set of Tendering documents may be inspected and procured by eligible Tenderers from the office of the Metropolitan Procurement Officer (Room 39, S.T.M.A) upon the submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500.00). Sale of Tender Documents will commence on Tuesday 20th September, 2022 at 9:00am to 4:30pm each day.
f. Payment under the Contract will be made wholly in Ghana Cedis.
g. Tender shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Tender Opening and must be accompanied by a Security as indicated in the table above.
h. Complete set of Tender Documents, with additional copies sealed in an envelope, should be submitted to the address below:

And be deposited in the box at the Conference Hall (Room 11) first floor Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly main office at Sekondi near Sekondi Prisons on or before 11:00 am on Monday, 17th October, 2022 on which time they will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend.
