- The purchaser now invites sealed bids from eligible entities (“bidders”) for the provision of Procurement of Electricity Power Transformers for Twenty-Six (26) One District One Factory (1D1F) Enable Youth (EY) Facilities at different locations across the country. More details on these goods and related services are provided in the schedule of requirements in the bidding documents.
This IFB is open to all eligible bidders who wish to respond. Subject to the restrictions noted in the bidding document, eligible entities may associate with other bidders to enhance their capacity to successfully deliver the goods and related services.
The goods and related services, and the contract expected to be awarded, is as follows:
50KVA 33KV/0.433KV Oil Immersed Transformer(PMT)

- Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method, the evaluation procedure for which is described in this bidding document, in accordance with the IFAD procurement handbook which is provided on the IFAD website www.ifad.org/project-procurement. The NCB process, as described, will include a review and verification of qualifications and past performance, including a reference check, prior to the contract award.
Please note that a pre-bid conference will be held as described in the bid data sheet BDS, Section II of the bidding document.
Bids must be delivered to the address below and in the manner specified in the BDS ITB 25 no later than: 10:00hrs GMT, 18th November, 2022.
Bid Security (GHC) : 80,000
Bidders should be aware that late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances and will be returned unopened to the bidder. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security (as required) in the manner and amount specified in the bid data sheet.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two hundred Ghana cedis(GHC200.00).
Bids should be submitted in clearly marked envelopes and delivered together with a written application and forwarding letter to the address below by 10:00hours GMT; 18th November, 2022.
