- The Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources (MSWR) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Database System for Informal Waste Sector and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Database System for Informal Waste Sector.
The Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources (MSWR) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Database System for Informal Waste Sector.
1. Supply of laptops 40 No.
2. Development of the methodological framework for data capture on the informal service providers, their areas of operation, and the average total MSW collected per provider in a day.
3. Provision of field support to the solid waste professional staff in all the municipalities on the use of the framework and software to capture informal service providers registration data alongside the management and hosting of the data within the cloud to make it accessible to all the municipalities.
4. Provision of a 3-day nonresidential training to support the municipalities to update the database with new service providers alongside the participatory discussion of solutions with regard to the management of the cooperatives towards improved MSW service delivery within the catchment.
