- 1. The Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly now invites sealed Tenders (“Tenders”) from eligible and qualified entities or persons (“Tenderers”) to provide the works referenced above.
2. More details on the requirements are provided in the Bill of Quantities, Specification, Performance Requirements and Drawings included in the Tender Documents accompanying this IFT which can be accessed via the Government of Ghana electronic procurement website ( https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh )
3. This IFT is open to all eligible and qualified Tenderers who wish to respond to the relevant “Tender Documents”. Qualification requirements are as described in Section III. Evaluation and Qualification Criteria.
4. A contractor will be selected under a competitive Tendering method through the evaluation procedure which is described in the Tender Documents, in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2003 Act 663 as amended, which are provided on the PPA website at www.ppa.gov.gh.
5. It is mandatory that Tenderers include in their tender the underlisted statutory requirements.
• Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate.
• Valid VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable).
• Valid Business Registration Certificate
• Valid Certificate of Incorporation
• Valid Certificate of Commencement.
• Valid Works and Housing Certificate
• Valid Labour Certificate
• Valid Registration Certificate from PPA

7. A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be accessed on GHANEPS (https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh ) by interested Tenderers. Tender participation fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis GH₵500.00) for each set of Tender will be paid via GHANEPS. The method of payment will be by Mobile Payment through GHANEPS.
8. The deadline for submission of Tenders is at 10.00 am local time on Tuesday 20TH December 2022. All bids must be delivered electronically via https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh since no manually submitted bid will be accepted.
9. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the form and amount specified in the Tender Documents, valid for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days after Tender opening.
10. Tenders will be opened electronically immediately after the deadline for submission. No physical meeting will be held during the tender opening process. Opened bid details can be accessed electronically via https://www.ghaneps.gov.gh
