- 1. STMA in collaboration with her project implementing partners have received funding from the European Commission under the ‘Local Authorities: Partnership for Sustainable Cities 2021. The Assembly intends to apply part of the funding under the action “Twin-Cities in Sustainable Partnership Project” (TCSPP) to finance the contract whose requirements is indicated in the below.

Training of unemployed women and youth to Establish Social Enterprises in Eco-Friendly Ovens, and supervise the construction of 100 eco-friendly ovens for poor fishmongers in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis

Requirement(s) per lot
A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing theory and practical training services in any of the lots.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction of bio-digester toilets.
Experience in establishing and managing social enterprise in any of the lots.
Relevant technical expertise in bio-digester toilet technology
Relevant technical expertise in the production of high-quality plastic pavement blocks and interlocking bricks for construction
Relevant technical expertise in the construction and management of eco-friendly fish oven
- Additional Information:
- 2. To be considered responsive, bidders shall prove their relevant technical expertise and experiences. Bids which do not have the relevant expertise and experiences shall be rejected as non-responsive.
3. The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly under the TCSPP now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to tender for any of the Lots above.
4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering Procedure as specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, amended Act, 2016 (Act 914) and the Contract Procedures for European Union External Action, i.e. PRAG (Practical guide to procurement and grant award procedure)
5. In addition to the technical requirements stated in the above table and Tender Document, all Eligible Tenderers should provide the following: Valid Registrar-General’s Department, Certificate, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate, Valid PPA Registration Certificate.

7. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢500.00) only.
8. Bids/Proposals may be delivered by hand or courier to the address below at or before 4:00pm Monday 29th May 2023. Late proposals will be rejected. Applicants are to submit one (1) original and three (3) additional copies of their bids. The envelope should also contain a soft copy of the technical RFP. Technical proposal should be in a separate envelope and be marked “Technical proposal” and Financial proposal should be marked “Financial Proposal”.
