Replacement of 9,085No. Missing/Broken/Defaced Forest Reserve Boundary Pillars (FRBPs) and 1118 Admitted Farm Pillars in Selected Forest Reserves and Admitted Farms
Additional Information:
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), through the Government of the Republic of Ghana, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ghana Landscape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Replacement of 9,085No. Missing/Broken/Defaced Forest Reserve Boundary Pillars (FRBPs) and 1118 Admitted Farm Pillars in Selected Forest Reserves and Admitted Farms. For this contract, the Borrower may process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Replacement of 9,085No. Missing/Broken/Defaced Forest Reserve Boundary Pillars (FRBPs) and 1118 Admitted Farm Pillars in Selected Forest Reserves and Admitted Farms. The Works is expected to be completed within 6 months after commencement of contract.

Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November, 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Project Coordinating Unit (PCU); Attention: Isaac Charles Acquah, at #1 Energy Close, adjacent Ministry of Energy on the Starlets ’91 Road, Ministries, Accra, and near the SSNIT Pension House at the Ministries, Accra; icacquah@hotmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:30 to 15:30 GMT from Monday to Friday at the address given below.

The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHȼ500.00). The method of payment will be Cash or Bankers Draft. The document will be sent by collection in-person from the address below OR via e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the bidder after payment has been made and confirmed.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15th September, 2023 at 11:00am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.
Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 11:00am on 15th September, 2023.
