- The Pru East District Directorate of Ghana Education Service (GES) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocations from the Member of Parliament’s share of Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) to fund eligible payment under the contract for the procurement of educational facility.
The Pru East District Directorate of Ghana Education Service hereby invites sealed tenders from eligible Contractors with Ministry of Works and Housing Certificates in the category of D4K4 and above for the:
Construction of 3-Unit Classroom block with office, store and staff common room at Roman Catholic (R/C) Junior High School, YEJI (BE/PE/GES/GETF/WK/NCT/2024/01)
A tenderer will be selected under the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended, and the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana. Tendering is open to all eligible firms as defined in the Tender Document.
Tender documents (and additional information) may be inspected and purchased at the office of the District Director, Ghana Education Service, Pru East District, Yeji – BE/R for a non-refundable fee of Three Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵300.00) on working days between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm. Tenderers are to submit their completed tenders with the following relevant valid documents:
1. Registrar General’s Registration Certificate (With evidence of current renewal receipt)
2. Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing Certificate (D4K4 and above)
3. Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Tax Clearance Certificate
4. SSNIT Clearance Certificate
5. Labour Clearance Certificate
6. Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Certificate
7. Tender Security of Three Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵3,000.00) in the form of Bank Guarantee or Bid Bond from a recognized Insurance Company
Completed and sealed Tender Documents bearing address One (1) below and clearly marked with the Contract Package Number and Contract Description must be deposited into the Tender Box located at the front of the Finance and Administration Office (first room at the right from the entrance) of the Pru East District Education Directorate, adjacent Habour Clinic - Yeji on or before 14th March, 2024 at 10:00am prompt. Late Tenders shall be rejected.
Tenders will be opened on 14thMarch, 2024 at 10:00am prompt in the Pru East District Education Office Conference Hall, adjacent Habour Clinic - Yeji in the presence of the tenderer’s or their representatives who choose to attend.
