- Additional Information:
- The Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) has received funding approval from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and MPs ’Common Fund to cover eligible payments under the Contracts for the Construction of Emergency Educational Infrastructure in Basic Schools in some selected Municipal/Districts in the Volta Region as indicated in the description.
• The Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council now invites sealed tenders from eligible Contractors for the CONSTRUCTION OF EMERGENCY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS FOR BASIC SCHOOLS AND CONSTRUCTION OF MUNICIPAL DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION, HO IN THE VOLTA REGION.
• Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering Procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 663, 2003 and the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act, 914 of 2016 and in the Guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority of Ghana.
• Interested and eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit, VRCC, Ho and inspect the tender documents from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m local time from Monday, 25th March, to Thursday, 18th April, 2024.
• A complete set of tender documents may be purchased at the Procurement Unit, VRCC, Ho for a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢500) for each lot upon the submission of application letter to the Chief Director/RCD, VRCC, Ho for the purchase of tender document. The method of payment shall be by cash.
• Tenders shall be valid for 120 days after the deadline for tender opening. Interested tenderers shall be requested as part of the tendering process to submit the following valid documents:-
• Company Registration Certificate, Registrar General’s Renewal Certificate (Receipt), Public Procurement Authority Registration Cert. or Receipt, Income Tax Clearance Certificate, Labour Clearance Certificate, SSNIT Clearance Certificate, Power of Attorney (If Necessary) and MWH Classification Certification
• Completed Tenders must be submitted to the address below and deposited in the tender box at the Conference Room of Volta Regional Coordinating Council, Ho not later than Thursday, 18th April, 2024 at 10:00 am prompt. Late submission of Tenders would be rejected.
• Tenders would be opened at the same time at 10:00 am local time at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council Conference Hall and in the presence of Tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
