- 1. The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) with support from the World Bank is implementing the Capacity Support Grant (CSG) of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme (GSCSP).
2. The Municipal Assembly has received approval from the Office of the Local Government Service Secretariat to use part of the CSG for Preparation of Abbreviated Resettlement Action Plan (ARAP) on the Redevelopment of Sefwi Dwinase Market.
3. Consequently, the Assembly intends to engage the services of an Individual Consultant to undertake an assignment in respect of provision of Consultancy Services for the Preparation of Abbreviated Resettlement Action Plan (ARAP) on the Redevelopment of Dwinase Market.

- 4. Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663) as Amended and in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority. The following documents are required from bidders:
I. A Technical Proposal with references to works of similar nature.
II. A Financial Proposal
III. CV demonstrating experience with similar assignments
5. It is estimated that about One (1) month of services would be required for the assignment but the Service Provider has the option to indicate his assessment of time inputs required.
6. The following qualification and discipline would be required: at least a Master’s degree holder with 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Environmental and Social Safeguard and a working experience in the local government system.
7. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Administration (Procurement Unit) of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly- Sefwi Wiawso between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 am from Monday to Friday.
8. All sealed Tender Documents must be deposited into the Tender Box in the Municipal Chief Executive’s Office at the address below on or before Monday,13th May, 2024 at 10.00am. Tenderers shall be valid for a period of 90 days. Tenders will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Monday, 13th May,2024 at 12:00pm GMT at the Conference Hall of the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly.
9. Late Tenders will be rejected.
